VOLUNTEERS WANTED – Advisory Planning Commissions

Are you interested in helping to plan the future development of your community?  We are seeking volunteers to serve on the following Electoral Area Advisory Planning Commissions:

  • Electoral Area D – Cowichan Bay
  • Electoral Area F – Cowichan Lake South/Skutz Falls
  • Electoral Area G – Saltair/Gulf Islands
  • Electoral Area H – North Oyster/Diamond
  • Electoral Area I – Youbou/Meade Creek

Advisory Planning Commissions provide advice on development applications, and OCP & Zoning Bylaw amendments affecting the Electoral Area that each Commission represents. If you are willing to volunteer a few hours each month as generally asked of Advisory Planning Commission members, submit an Expression of Interest or pick up at Main Reception at 175 Ingram Street. Completed Expressions of Interest may be submitted to Referrals@cvrd.bc.ca or dropped off in hard copy by Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
