Functions

Information Technology is a division located within the Corporate Services department that provides information technology, telecommunications and Geographical Information Systems support to the Cowichan Valley Regional District.

The primary functions provided include:

  • Maintenance of IT infrastructure
  • Support for client devices including computers and peripherals
  • Software Application support
  • Voice services support 
  • Mobile / wireless services
  • Geographical Information Systems (mapping)

We are continually striving to improve the efficiency of our services and keep pace with advances in technology in an effort to provide ongoing value to CVRD residents.
