Youth Soccer League

Please call our office, visit us in person, or register online. After initial registration, please complete the soccer registration form and return to us before the first day.

While we do our best to accommodate player requests, we won’t guarantee them. The top priority at the start of each season is to create balanced teams for each age group. Requests that prevent this from being achieved will not be accommodated.

Withdrawals must take place a minimum of one week prior to the season start date in order to receive a full refund. Prorated refunds for late withdrawal requests will be given only up until October 1. No refunds will be given after October 1, unless we are able to fill your space with a waitlisted participant. All withdrawals are subject to a $5 administration fee.

Please note that weather conditions for winter soccer can be unpredictable. Cancellations may occur due to conditions such as frozen playing surfaces, standing water, and other field conditions that may increase the risk of injury to players or cause undue damage to fields. No refunds will be given for cancellations due to weather.

Each player will receive a jersey at the start of the season. If any jerseys are not returned in reusable condition at the end of the season, a $25 charge will be placed on the family’s account.

Please make sure your child has their own shin guards (mandatory), soccer boots (highly recommended), and shorts. Please dress your child appropriately for the weather. On cold days long-sleeved under shirts, gloves, and toques are all good ideas. Players are not permitted to wear jewelry for games or practices.

Games will be played on Saturdays at the Kerry Park Sports Fields. U7 – U11 teams will practice once a week, with a set night assigned to each age group. Practice nights and Saturday game times for each age group can be found on our League Schedules page. U6 teams will not have a weekday practice.

The Kerry Park Sports Fields will be used for practices during the fall, while south end gymnasiums will be used during the winter. Practices will generally be for one hour between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays.

Before heading to the fields every Saturday, please see Field Status at the top of this page. Kerry Park Maintenance Staff will decide if the fields are OPEN or CLOSED, depending on the weather and field saturation levels. The page will be updated every Saturday morning by 8:30 AM.

If the fields are marked OPEN, all soccer will run as scheduled.

If the fields are marked CLOSED, all soccer will be cancelled for the day.
