Picnic Shelters and Group Use in Parks & Trails
Depending on what you would like to do, you may require a picnic shelter reservation or a park permit. Please use the information below to determine what type of event you are hosting and what approval you may need.

Commercial use of Parks
At this time, commercial use is not permitted in CVRD parks or trails. This includes and is not limited to: food trucks, fitness classes, organized classes/groups or other events where the organizer earns a profit.
Programming in Parks

All filming requests should be directed to Film Cowichan for the appropriate approvals.
If the filming involves special set-up or activities occurring within the park, a Parks Special Event Permit may also be required.
