Driving Electric

The Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) supports the transition to electric vehicles with four Level 2 dual-port EV charging stations available for public use at:

  • Cowichan Community Centre
  • Cowichan Lake Sports Arena
  • Kerry Park Recreation Centre
  • Shawnigan Lake Community Centre

Installed in 2012/2013 with provincial grant funding, these stations help reduce range anxiety and make longer trips possible.
