Advisory Planning Commissions

Each Electoral Area within the CVRD has an Advisory Planning Commission made up of local residents who provide advice and recommendations to the CVRD Board on planning related matters such as:

  • Official Community Plan (OCP) Amendments
  • Rezoning Applications
  • Development Permit Applications
  • Other applications as requested by the Electoral Area Director

Commission meetings are open to the public and those interested are encouraged to attend. Please see the CVRD meeting calendar for more information on advisory planning commission meeting schedules.

The CVRD is committed to the ongoing journey of reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in the region by strengthening cooperation, collaboration, and relationship building.
