Economic Development Cowichan is a part of the CVRD’s Corporate Services Department, dedicated to strengthening our regional economy and communities. As a regional service, we serve the 9 CVRD electoral areas and 4 municipalities (Town of Lake Cowichan, City of Duncan, Town of Ladysmith, and Municipality of North Cowichan). We actively support and attract businesses, facilitate sector development, and champion community-based initiatives. Film Cowichan

The Cowichan Valley is a film-friendly destination, and Film Cowichan is your primary point of contact for all filming inquiries. Our initiative aims to promote a cooperative and rewarding experience for productions, the public, and local municipalities. We’re here to help film producers navigate the various municipal requirements and governing bodies, ensuring a smooth and successful filming experience in our beautiful region.
