Each session begins with a fun doodle warm-up before introducing the main project. Activities include painting, drawing, and hands-on creations. Most classes feature a new project, while some may continue over multiple sessions.
Wrap up the week with friends and fun! Every Friday, kids can join our after-school group for activities and creative projects. It’s a great way to build skills and make connections.
Floorball | Ages 5 – 14
Floorball is a fun, safe and fast-paced form of floor hockey developed in Europe in the 1970’s. The game of Floorball is used in a variety of Hockey Canada development programs as an off-ice training tool, and it is ideal as a safe, inclusive introduction to hockey.

The Sports Sampler will support development of individual skills and push the boundaries of each child’s ability and motor skills. This is an Introduction of more/regular non-competitive team play. The kids will enjoy a variety of sports and activities including: soccer, hockey, basketball, football, racquet sports, volleyball, lots of games, obstacle courses and races.
The emphasis will be on teamwork and sportsmanship.

School’s out and we’ve got the perfect place for kids to stay active! Our camps are filled with exciting activities, games, and skating designed to keep both mind and body moving.
Prerequisite: Children must be responsible enough to strictly adhere to the Summer Camp Guidelines during their time at camp.
Registration: Full week registrations will be given priority. Registration package must be completed and returned a minimum of five (5) days prior to camp start date.
Withdrawal Policy: Withdrawals must take place a minimum of seven (7) days prior to the start date in order to receive a refund. If you choose to withdraw less than 7 days in advance and we are unable to fill your space with waitlisted participants, no refunds will be issued. All withdrawals are subject to a $5 administration fee.
Lakers Summer Camp | Ages 6 – 12
Each themed week kids will have fun with the classic camp activities like crafts, games, and activities. In addition, we will try to visit the forest, local parks, try different sports and activities while allowing time for campers to explore their imaginations through unstructured play. This educational program follows the Kid Proof guide to Babysitter’s Training. We include first aid, household safety, behaviour management, child development, and dealing with strangers. We will also have some fun with games and activities that every babysitter can use. This course includes a certificate upon completion. Participants must be 11 years old by the start of class.
The at Home Alone program from Kid Proof will help prepare your child for emergencies and the responsibility of staying home alone. We will cover tips and real-life scenarios to engage and inspire your child to be responsible and knowledgeable when home alone.
Learn to Fish | Ages 5 – 15
Join the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC for this 2-hour program where you will learn about hatchery roles, fish identification, proper fish handling, tackle, rod rigging and casting. Education is followed by an hour of hands-on fishing at the lake! Rods and tackle are provided and programs run rain or shine. Parent participation required. Parents must have Freshwater Fishing License to fish. Pre-registration required!
