Boatswain Park

Boatswain Park, located in Cobble Hill near the end of Aros Road, is a quiet neighbourhood park used mainly by the local community and is located a short distance from the ocean and Granfield Trail. The playground was upgraded in 2016 including a full rehabilitation of the park. There is now parking for 3 vehicles.

How to Get There

Boatswain Park address is 3830 Granfield Place, Cobble Hill. East off the Trans-Canada Highway onto Fisher Road. Right onto Telegraph Road, left onto Aros Road. Note: On the right just before Granfield Place.

History

In 2013 a community survey went out to the local residents asking what they would like to see for future upgrades or changes to the park. In 2014 a community advisory group was put together as a result of the community survey and planning took place through out the summer months. A Concept Plan was developed and redevelopment of the park was completed in July 2016.
