Special Events

We offer many special events during the year for our community to come out and enjoy, such as our Christmas Family Skate and Summer Movies in the Park. Check back regularly to see what’s coming up!

The objective of this double’s tournament is to promote pickleball at all levels and showcase this wonderful sport. Floating partners will be assigned based on players’ self-ratings, and each player will carry an individual score while competing for top prizes. This year, a complimentary snack table will be offered in place of lunch.

Experience the 155-year-old Butchart Gardens without the drive. Enjoy coffee or tea and a pastry on the way, then explore 55 acres of beautifully designed gardens at your own pace. Admission, transportation, and light refreshments included.

Pack up the family, bring your lawn chairs, and join us for Summer Movies in the Park, proudly supported by SLCA. Enjoy the evening under the stars with family-friendly movies and snacks available from the concession.

National Pickleball Day is a special day to showcase Pickleball and to celebrate the fastest growing sport in North America. This event will feature round robin tournaments. Special registration date for this event listed below. More information available after July 1.
