Cobble Hill Commons Bandshell Begins Construction
The Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) is excited to announce that construction for a new bandshell at Cobble Hill Commons is underway. The contract for the new stage and bandshell for outdoor entertainment at the Area C community park has been awarded to Built Contracting Ltd. and a small groundbreaking event took place on March 23 to mark the start of construction.

Land Acknowledgement
The CVRD is in the ancestral and unceded territories of First Nations including (but not limited to) Quw'utsun (Cowichan Tribes), MÁLEXEŁ (Malahat), BOḰEĆEN (Pauquachin), c̓uubaʕsaʔtx̣ (Ts'uubaa-asatx), xeláltxw (Halalt), Spune’luxutth (Penelakut), Stz'uminus, Leey’qsun (Lyackson), Diitiidʔaaʔtx̣ (Ditidaht) and P’a:chi:da?aht (Pacheedaht) Peoples. Local First Nations Peoples have stewarded the lands of this region since time immemorial.
