IMPORTANT NOTICE: Open Fire Ban – Effective Immediately

ALL CVRD PARKS & TRAILS – The Province of BC Wildfire Service has issued an open fire prohibition for most of the Coastal Fire Centre Region, inclusive of Vancouver Island. This fire ban includes a prohibition of campfires, effective as of Thursday, May 7, 2026, 12:00 p.m. PST. The fire ban applies to all CVRD parks and trails. Extreme caution must be exercised: no fires, no open flames, and no smoking.
