A Public Hearing will be held to consider the following bylaws regarding 240 Okotoks Drive & 296 Meadow Way in Electoral Area A:

  1. Bylaw No. 4642 to amend “CVRD Bylaw No. 4373 – Cowichan Valley Regional District Official Community Plan Bylaw for the Electoral Areas, 2024â€, for the following purpose:
    • To redesignate the properties from Small Lot Rural to General Industrial;
    • To include the properties in Development Permit Areas 9: Form and Character (Industrial Development) and 10: Energy and Water Conservation; Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction;
  2. Bylaw No. 4643 to amend “CVRD South Cowichan Zoning Bylaw No. 3520, 2012â€, for the following purpose:
    • To rezone from RR-2 Rural Residential 2 to I-8 Auto Wrecking/Salvage Industrial, with permitted site-specific vehicle storage and vehicle sales use.
