Home News Share Your Thoughts on Accessibility in the Region
The Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) is seeking community input to assist in creating a three-year Accessibility Plan (the Plan) that will look to identify, remove, and prevent barriers to access in CVRD spaces, programs, and services. The feedback will help to ensure that the Plan reflects the diverse needs of people living, working, and playing in the Cowichan Valley.
A survey is now open to collect your thoughts on what accessibility means to you; what barriers you may have faced in CVRD-operated spaces, programs, and services; and what actions the CVRD can take to remove these barriers. Please share your feedback by submitting an online survey. All surveys must be received by Friday, May 29, 2026. To learn more about the Accessibility Plan process and to complete the survey online, visit: planyourcowichan.ca/cvrd-accessibility-plan.
