Film Cowichan

The Film Cowichan service is no longer available. Please contact the local governing body in the city, town or municipality or area you wish to film in for requirements.

If you wish to film in a CVRD Park, please contact parks@cvrd.bc.ca for more details.

Economic Development Cowichan

The regional economic development service provided by the CVRD has been discontinued. As of February 20, 2026, the CVRD will no longer have staff resources assigned to Economic Development Cowichan. For more information

The CVRD is in the ancestral and unceded territories of First Nations including (but not limited to) Quw'utsun (Cowichan Tribes), MÁLEXEŁ (Malahat), BOḰEĆEN (Pauquachin), c̓uubaʕsaʔtx̣ (Ts'uubaa-asatx), xeláltxw (Halalt), Spune’luxutth (Penelakut), Stz'uminus, Leey’qsun (Lyackson), Diitiidʔaaʔtx̣ (Ditidaht) and P’a:chi:da?aht (Pacheedaht) Peoples. Local First Nations Peoples have stewarded the lands of this region since time immemorial. The CVRD is committed to the ongoing journey of reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in the region by strengthening cooperation, collaboration, and relationship building.
