For the duration of the current public health emergency and to support mandated social distancing, all Advisory Planning Commission meetings will be conducted electronically.
Each Electoral Area within the CVRD has an active Advisory Planning Commission made up of local residents who provide advice and recommendations to the CVRD Board on planning related matters such as:
The APC brings a broad community perspective to initiatives that promote a sustainable community by linking land use, environment, climate change, economy, and social and cultural considerations, all of which represent the community vision as defined by the OCP.
Commission meetings are open to the public and those interested are encouraged to attend.
