Curbside Collection Winter Guidelines

Do you know how to correctly space your tote for successful winter weather collection?

Automated collection vehicles require at least one metre (three feet) of clearance on all sides to collect your garbage, recycling, and organics effectively. During winter weather events, this includes making clearance for snowbanks and other debris. For safety reasons, please do not place your totes on a snowbank or in the roadway; residents are responsible for clearing snow around their totes.
