CVRD Utilities Notice – 2026 WATER SYSTEM FLUSHING SCHEDULE

The Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) will be carrying out flushing of the water systems listed below on:

Monday, February 23 – Friday, February 27, 2026
Burnum, Cherry Point and Carlton Water Systems

Monday, March 2 – Friday, March 6, 2026
Bald Mountain, Honeymoon Bay, Mesachie Lake and Youbou Water Systems

Monday, March 9 – Friday, March 13, 2026
Douglas Hill, Kerry Village and Lambourn Estates Water Systems

Monday, March 16 – Friday, March 20, 2026
Shellwood, Saltair and Woodley Range Water Systems

Monday, March 23 – Friday, March 27, 2026
Shellwood, Saltair and Woodley Range Water Systems

Monday, March 30 – Thursday, April 2, 2026
Shawnigan Lake North Water System

Residents may experience some air in the lines and discolouration of the water supply during these operations. Should this occur, running a cold water tap for a short period will help to restore the water quality to normal.
