Background
The Cowichan Valley Regional District invites applications for six volunteer members of the new Cowichan Lake Community Hall Advisory Committee.
The purpose of the Committee is to make recommendations to the new Cowichan Lake Recreation Commission regarding recreation services in community halls and around the Cowichan Lake area.
There are a total of six volunteer positions available. Two volunteers will be appointed for each of these areas: Electoral Area F (Cowichan Lake South/Skutz Falls), Electoral Area I (Youbou/Meade Creek), and the Town of Lake Cowichan.
The Committee will meet 2-3 times a year and members will serve a term ending on December 31, 2026. As this is a volunteer position, there is no remuneration for participation.

Applications are invited until 2 PM on Friday, September 22, 2023.

Volunteer appointments will be made by the CVRD Board in early October 2023 and applicants can expect to hear back by mid-October.
