Illegal dumping comes at a cost to everyone in the Cowichan region. Illegal dumping causes environmental damage to our forests and waterways and creates health and safety risks for visitors and residents. The CVRD is asking for your help to stop illegal dumpers by reporting what you see to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy’s Report all Poachers and Polluters (RAPP) hotline at 1-877-952-RAPP (7277).

Remember, if you see someone illegally dumping, do not endanger yourself by approaching them. Instead, record and report identifying information to ensure the person responsible is caught.
