The Sportsplex in Duncan has fields for soccer, field hockey (artificial surface), field lacrosse and ultimate frisbee. There is a lacrosse box, fast and slo-pitch diamonds and a 600 metre cushioned fitness path; with outdoor fitness equipment, and a 400 metre track and field venue. Other amenities include tournament quality lighting, seating for 200, standing room for 2000+ and 375 parking spaces, children's playground, nature walk and room for community events.
Evans Park in North Cowichan is home to seven ball fields and two multi-sport pitches. All fields have covered dugouts and spectator seating. Four fields accommodate softball, with three fields having home run distance of 225 feet and one field at 240 feet. The clubhouse includes full change room facilities, permanent washrooms, official’s room, meeting room and on-site food operations.
Sherman Park is home to the Cowichan Valley Soccer Association and hosts many local, regional and provincial soccer events. The park, located in Duncan, includes two full size natural turf soccer fields, five mini soccer fields and one juvenile soccer pitch. The two story clubhouse includes change rooms, washrooms, storage, meeting rooms and large meeting area.
For team sport enthusiasts and fans alike, the outdoor sports complex located in Ladysmith includes Forrest Field, the home turf of the Football Club - Pacific Coast Soccer League. This artificial turf field officially opened in May 2011 and all ages are enjoying playing on it. There are change rooms, a small children's park, and lights. Future plans include the development of two ball fields, fitness track, and field house.
McAdam Park boasts two full-size, 70 yards by 120 yards, exceptional sports fields that are regularly used for many championship games in soccer, football and field lacrosse, and sports groups including Cowichan Bulldogs Youth Football, Cowichan Women’s Flag Football, Cowichan Valley Soccer Association and Classic Soccer. There are change rooms, washrooms and 100 free parking spaces. Spectator capacity is 150 seated, 1000+ standing.
State-of-the-art facilities at Shawnigan Lake International School include five grass fields, with posts and soccer nets.There is also one turf field with soccer and field hockey nets, and one water based turf-field hockey specific. Room and board options are seasonally available and there is a separate guest boarding house for team stays. National Rowing and Rugby teams use the facilities and the Canucks run their their Prospects Camp here during the summer.
