Many watersheds on the East Coast of Vancouver Island have limited natural surface water storage and are more susceptible to periods of drought. With expanding residential and agricultural areas and a projected 17% decrease in summertime precipitation by 2050, there are concerns over delicate water supplies in the region. We can all help.
