[ARCHIVED] Curbside Update

Due to severe weather conditions over the holidays, curbside collection was missed on certain streets/addresses within CVRD regular curbside collection service routes. If we missed you, CVRD trucks will pick-up extra material placed next to your tote(s) during your next regular pick-up day. Please be sure to have your material out at the curb by 7:30 AM.

Youbou area garbage and recycling collection: Weather reports are calling for snow this evening. Trucks are planning to collect tomorrows route as scheduled. If weather impedes the collection, extra material will be accepted on your next collection day.

Mill Bay/Shawnigan January 3 collection: Two out of three collection trucks are off the road needing repairs so many streets/addresses were missed. Dependent on weather, trucks will be returning to the area to complete the route on Friday, January 6. Please have your material out by 7:30 AM.

Telegraph/Cherry Point January 4 collection: Due to truck break downs, the January 4 collection could be delayed. Please keep your material out later than you normally would, as crews will be out late collecting material

During severe weather conditions, CVRD regularly updates the status for anticipated missed collections or alternate dates for collection. Generally, if a regular curbside collection route is missed, extra material can be placed next to your totes and will be collected on the next regularly scheduled collection day.
