The site was developed as a tourist destination for launching kayaks and canoes from the specially designed accessible public launching dock. Small craft can also be launched from the beach. Picnic tables and a picnic shelter are available for day use and the naturescape designed play space is available for children to explore the environment through natural play. Parking is also available at this location for day use only. No overnight parking is allowed.
