The 2025 Maple Bay Rowing Club Junior Regatta hosts junior rowers from all of the clubs on Vancouver Island and clubs from mainland BC and the US. The 2025 MBRC Junior Regatta will be a two-day racing event. Races include sculling boat classes of singles, doubles, and quads as well as sweep boat classes of pairs, fours, and eights. The categories also range in age groups from Under 15s to Under 19s. Our Lake Quamichan venue includes racing on the RCA 2000-meter course, which is unique to not just our Cowichan Valley Region, but the only professional 6-lane buoyed Olympic-sized course in BC.
