[ARCHIVED] OPEN FIRE BAN IN EFFECT NOON MAY 18, 2012 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Effective at noon May 18, 2012, the Coastal Fire Centre has banned backyard fires (Category2) and fireworks. Campfires are still permitted. The ban will be in place until September 15th or until the public is otherwise notified.
