Update Wednesday July 27 1pm: to protect the health and safety of staff, curbside collection has been discontinued for the remainder of the day. Curbside garbage and recycling collection notice for pickup on WEDNESDAY, JULY 27.

Due to extreme heat, curbside collection vehicles may not be able to maintain safe interior cab temperatures as required by Worksafe BC. For the safety of our staff, garbage and recycling collection for residents in Cherry Point will be collected first thing in the morning on Wednesday July 27. Cherry Point residents are asked to have all curbside material out and ready for pickup at 7:30am. We will not be returning for any missed pickups.

We will continue to collect curbside material on Wednesday until it is no longer safe to do so.
