Two Additional Bike Maintenance Stations Available for Public Use 

Duncan, BC - In response to the popularity of the first community bike maintenance station installed at Island Savings Centre in spring 2016, the Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) has increased the number of community bike maintenance station from one to three. The new stations have been installed at Kerry Park Recreation Centre and Cowichan Lake Sports Arena.

“The bike maintenance supports active and healthy lifestyles, resource sharing and environmental stewardship,” explains Board Chair Jon Lefebure.

All three stations are available for public use and offer the tools necessary to perform basic bike maintenance. Hanging the bike up on the station allows the pedals and wheels to spin freely, making adjustments easier.
