[ARCHIVED] Heavy rainfall causing flooding in Cowichan region, resulting in road closures and evacuations

A State of Local Emergency has been declared for the Cowichan Valley
Regional District and some of its member communities, as heavy rainfall continues to cause flooding of roads and neighbourhoods across the region.
