On Tuesday morning, BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) continued its efforts to expand the containment area around the Mt. Hayes wildfire. 

The status of the wildfire is classified as “Being Held” and there are no changes this morning to the ongoing Evacuation Alerts. The next status update will come Tuesday evening.
