[ARCHIVED] Ladysmith, Youbou and Honeymoon Bay Transit Customer Survey

Ladysmith, Youbou and Honeymoon Bay Transit Customer Survey

The CVRD and BC Transit want to hear from Ladysmith, Youbou and Honeymoon Bay transit riders about the changes made to these routes last fall.

Staff will be on buses connecting with customers and an online survey will be available from June 5 – 18 to collect feedback about the changes implemented in October 2016.

Changes made to Ladysmith area routes included:

  • 1) Adding a direct transit connection between Ladysmith and Duncan;
  • 2) Merging routes to cover the local Ladysmith area more efficiently; and
  • 3) Service is now six days a week - Monday to Saturday.

Changes made to Youbou and Honeymoon Bay area routes included:

  • 1) Introduction of a 7:28 a.m. trip instead of at 5:48 a.m. trip on both Routes 20 and 21 (Youbou and Honeymoon Bay);
  • 2) Introduction of an 11:18 am trip to narrow the service gap in the afternoon on Route 20 (Youbou);
  • 3) Introduction of a 7:09 pm Monday to Thursday trip on Route 20 (Youbou) to match Honeymoon Bay service levels; and
  • 4) Service is now six days a week – Monday to Saturday.

Tell us what you think about these service changes and enter your name into a draw for a chance to win a monthly bus pass! The online survey is available at: https://questionnaire.simplesurvey.com/Engine/Default.aspx?surveyID=2011a728-1ff9-4ae2-b93c-a587bd23a817&lang=EN
