CVRD crew had tried for sometime to locate a leak in the water system, but this particular leak made it difficult to pinpoint due to its location near the creek.  When the leak was small it remained un-detectable (as the water entered into the creek) but as it became more severe finding the leak became a priority!   Once the leak was found, it was quickly repaired.

The picture shows the repair to the watermain.  The line was capped on both sides of the leak.  A large concrete block was put in place to secure the pipe in place before the backfill material went in.
