The club has hosted the annual Brentwood International Rowing Regatta since 1971. This international event attracts teams from all parts of Canada, the United States, and from as far away as Mexico and Australia. In the past, there have also been teams from Europe and Asia. In 2017, over 4,000 people were in attendance, including over 1,700 athletes and coaches, and over 500 volunteers. The event showcases student athletes in a world-class race setting—over 170 heats down the 1,500-metre course, every 7 minutes, for 23 hours spanning 3 days!
