Heavy rain prompts Evacuation Alert in Cowichan Bay area, localized flooding reported across region

The Regional Emergency Operations Centre of the CVRD has issued an Evacuation Alert for an area in Cowichan Bay, and advises residents across the region to be prepared in the event flood conditions worsen overnight.
